The Committee on Small Business Subcommittee on Oversight, Investigations, and Regulations
will hold a hybrid hearing titled: “Global Supply Chains and Small Business Trade Challenges.”
The hearing is scheduled to begin at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 in Room
2360 of the Rayburn House Office Building. Participating members can also join remotely via
Zoom.
The COVID-19 pandemic exposed many weaknesses in the global supply chains that small
businesses rely on to provide goods and services. As the economy recovers, small firms and
consumers alike face product shortages and transportation delays that can hinder a strong
recovery. The hearing will allow Members to examine the issues causing disruptions, challenges
small entities face in adjusting to the disruption, and steps Congress can take to strengthen
supply chain resiliency.
