The hearing will provide an overview of the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loan
forgiveness process and allow Members an opportunity to hear from lenders, borrowers, and
other stakeholders about their experiences with the forgiveness process. The committee will
examine loan forgiveness guidance and proposals for simplifying the loan forgiveness process
for certain borrowers.
