The Committee on Small Business Subcommittee on Rural Development, Agriculture, Trade, and Entrepreneurship will hold a hybrid hearing entitled “Kick Starting Entrepreneurship and Main Street Economic Recovery.” The hearing is scheduled to begin at 10:00 AM (EST) on Wednesday, July 29, 2020 and will take place in room 2360 of the Rayburn House Office Building. Members who wish to participate remotely may do so via Cisco Webex. The hearing will allow members to learn more about why the COVID-19 pandemic is a unique challenge for rural economies. Further, it will examine what worked and did not work to encourage rural development and entrepreneurship during and after the Great Recession, and how these lessons can be applied to the current crisis.
