On Wednesday, May 20, 2020 at 1:00 P.M., the Committee on Small Business Subcommittee on Rural Development, Agriculture, Trade, and Entrepreneurship will hold a virtual forum. The virtual forum will provide an opportunity for Small Business Committee Members to hear from rural leaders on the economic challenges facing rural communities. The focus will be on what is working well with SBA programs, what is not, and what more Congress can do to support rural economies during the global COVID-19 pandemic. The discussion will also explore SBA provisions, and other federal programs, that have been implemented to support the small business economy and how these programs are being utilized across rural communities. This virtual forum will take place via WebEx, information to be provided separately.
